Real Estate Industry Leader Amy Melchior, CPM joins Forte Real Estate Partners

 

Amy Melchior, CPM, has joined Forte Real Estate Partners in a new leadership role as Executive Vice President-Property Management, to continue building the firm’s full-service commercial real estate platform. Melchior is a 42-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and has multi-disciplined experience in commercial property asset management, property management, leasing coordination, acquisition/disposition collaboration and construction management services.  She was most recently with Artis REIT as a US Regional Senior Vice President-Asset Management. Prior to Artis, Melchior spent much of her career with CBRE, most recently as an Associate Director-Property Management.

Melchior will be working closely with the Forte property management team which includes Chad Thomas, CPM-Senior Vice President, Jan Jetland Murphy, RPA-Vice President, Claire Langland-Johnson-Portfolio Services Manager, Ray Helmuth-Accounting Manager, and Aggie Leovan-Property Administrator.

Melchior managed a portfolio of more than 40 office, industrial and retail properties while at Artis REIT. Most recently her focus was on leasing and asset management of industrial properties and new development in Minneapolis, MN and Houston, TX. 

While at CBRE, Melchior managed a staff of property managers, engineers and admin personnel working on eight million square feet of industrial space. 

“Understanding the needs of our landlords and tenants, and building trusted relationships leads to successful outcomes.  I look forward to continuing to build on the strong property/asset management and accounting services that Forte currently has,” Melchior said.

Melchior graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management and Business from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.  She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and holds a broker’s license in Minnesota.
