THE STANDARD AND NORRIS & STEVENS FORGE NEW ALLIANCE

PORTLAND, OR (March 13, 2015) — Standard Insurance Company (“The Standard”) is pleased to announce the selection of Norris & Stevens, Inc. as leasing agents for The Standard’s properties located in Portland’s Central Business District including the Standard Insurance Center, located at 900 SW 5th Avenue and Standard Plaza, located at 1100 SW 6th Avenue and Stonemill Business Park, located in Vancouver, Washington. Norris & Stevens will manage the Stonemill property as well. Additionally, as part of the new alliance, Norris & Stevens will move their headquarters to occupy one full floor in the Standard Insurance Center.

Standard Insurance Center is an iconic, 28-story high-rise office tower built in 1971, containing 457,343 rentable square feet, and home to Standard Insurance Company, Stoel Rives, LLP, Wells Fargo Bank, Glumac and Fidelity National Title Company of Oregon, among others.  Standard Plaza is a 17-story, LEED Gold property built in 1963 containing 217,897 rentable square feet. The Standard occupies the majority of the Plaza. Stonemill Business Park is a two-building, 116,511 rentable square foot office project located in the Cascade Park Submarket of Vancouver, Washington.

Duane Link, senior broker of Office Properties, will lead the downtown leasing effort for Norris & Stevens. Timothy Pfeiffer, broker, Office Properties, will handle the Vancouver assignment for Norris & Stevens, and Loyda Timmins will manage the Vancouver property.
