Norris & Stevens/TCN Worldwide Announces Four New Brokers

NORRIS & STEVENS/TCN WORLDWIDE ANNOUNCES FOUR NEW BROKERS

 

PORTLAND, OR, JULY 1, 2011— Norris & Stevens/TCN Worldwide, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage and property management firms in the northwest, has recently hired four new brokers: Cameron Mercer, Frank Banton, Andrew Bean, and Richard Jennings.

“We are pleased to welcome Cameron, Frank, Andrew, and Richard to Norris & Stevens’ team of professionals,” said Timothy S. Mitchell, Senior Vice President and Director of Sales and Leasing. “Each of these individuals brings their own unique experience and perspective to the table, which will greatly benefit our growing brokerage as a whole.”

Cameron Mercer joins Norris & Stevens as a Sales Associate and Asset Manager in the Multifamily division. He comes to us with two years of real estate experience, having worked previously with several large banks on residential foreclosures. Currently he is working as a broker assistant as well as an asset manager managing several hundred apartment units. He holds a B.S. in Regional Development with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and has completed extensive coursework toward the CCIM designation.

Frank Banton brings property development experience to his position as Multifamily Sales Associate. Prior to joining Norris & Stevens, he owned and operated a general contracting homebuilding company as well as a residential land development firm. Before that, he worked with international customers in the Finance/Credit department at Tektronix. Banton is a BYU graduate who holds a B.A. in Portuguese and minors in Construction Management & Sociology.

Andrew Bean is a second-generation Norris & Stevens broker, joining the company in the capacity of Industrial Properties Broker. Previously, Andrew was employed by Bluestone & Hockley, where he held the title of Associate Broker. He also served an internship with Hoffman Construction as an Intern Project Engineer.  Andrew graduated from Portland State University in 2009 with a BA in Sociology & Community Development and is currently in the Graduate Certificate Program in Real Estate Development at PSU.

Richard Jennings joins Norris & Stevens as an Office Properties Broker from Coldwell Banker Bain/Seal where he was a residential broker specializing in BPO/REO assets. Before joining CBBS, Richard and his family lived in Bend where he was the managing partner of a real estate investment company. He also has entrepreneurial experience, having started and eventually sold a nationally-recognized decorative lighting company. Jennings grew up traveling the States as a Marine brat and is a graduate of San Jose State University with a major in Advertising/Marketing.
