NORRIS & STEVENS SELLS FORMER OREGON SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND FOR $6,000,000

Norris & Stevens and Venerable Properties are proud to announce the sale of the former Oregon School for the Blind to the Salem Hospital for $6,000,000. The school opened as a residential institution for the deaf and blind in the late 1880's, and was in continuous use for 120 years until closing in 2009. Thomas McDowell and Steven Mack of TCN member Norris & Stevens, and Craig Kelly of Venerable Properties represented the seller, the State of Oregon.
