Hanna Commercial Real Estate/TCN Worldwide was honored at the 2023 NAIOP Awards of Excellence on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Truss. The annual event recognizes the best projects, developments, real estate transactions, and individual contributions in the commercial real estate industry in Northern Ohio.
Hanna Commercial Real Estate’s Diana Whisenant, SIOR was awarded the “Buckley King” Broker of the Year. Brokering 105 deals with a total of $34 million in sale and lease consideration while managing the Hanna Corporate Services Department, set her apart as a true leader in the field. This is Diana’s 4th time being awarded Broker of the Year and 8th time being awarded Transaction of the Year.
Hanna Commercial also was awarded the Transaction of the Year for the sale of a 49,540 SF office building and office relocation to a 17,589 SF Class A office building brokered by Julie Sabroff, Diana Whisenant, David O’Neill, and Mac Biggar. After conducting an analysis of strategic options for the client’s 49,540 SF regional office situated on 2.34 AC, the team concluded that the client would be best served by selling the entire site, targeting industrial developers given the significant demand for last-minute warehouse/distribution.
