Mid-Atlantic Commercial Real Estate attracts and retains top-producing talent by supporting agents to build their own brands and entrepreneurial endeavors, a firm leader said.
“Everybody is pretty passionate about what we do,” managing broker Jonathan Guion said. “We go at it pretty hard. You have to in this business. You have to be driven.”
For instance, Monty Spencer — recognized as a regional “Power Broker,” or one of the most active local dealmakers, by industry analytics leader CoStar Group Inc. — leads Mid-Atlantic’s self-storage affiliate, The Storage Acquisition Group, as president and CEO. The group launched a couple of years ago and has become a significant chunk of the business. And it’s still growing with agents across the country, Guion said.
Just this past summer, Guion said, he launched Coastal Marina Sales as a specialty affiliate because he enjoys doing marina deals. The firm also does commercial development and has retail, industrial, land and multifamily teams in addition to other services like property management.
