Battlefield Research and Consulting has leased 1,250 square feet in the Bionetics Building at 101 Production Drive in Yorktown to operate a call center. Robert Duckett of Mid-Atlantic Commercial facilitated the transaction.
Anytime Fitness has leased 6,011 SF in the Promenade at Cedar on Cedar Road in Chesapeake to open a 24-hour fitness facility, which is now open for business and accepting new clients. Katherine Woodruff of Mid-Atlantic Commercial facilitated the transaction.
Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater has purchased 7,700 square feet of office space at 1100 Madison Plaza in Chesapeake to serve as their new headquarters. Dave Clarke of Mid-Atlantic Commercial represented Crisis Pregnancy in the transaction, while Riddle-Associates, Inc. represented the seller.
Coastal Comfort Mattress and Bedding has leased a 1,500 square foot showroom located at 6651 Main Street in Downtown Gloucester. The mattress and bedding showroom will be opening for business in December 2015. Robert Duckett facilitated the transaction.
Essential Seeds for Change has leased 550 square foot of office space at 813-A North King Street in Hampton. The space, formerly a barber shop, will be reopened as an individual and family counseling office. Miguel Girona facilitated the transaction.
Euro Pros Auto Repair has purchased the 5,900 square foot office/ warehouse at 103 Production Drive in Yorktown from Debbie Rountree for $410,000. The facility, formerly a metal fabrication shop, will be reopened as an auto repair facility. K. C. Spencer facilitated the transaction.
Boca Futures LLC has purchased the 43,500 square foot office/ industrial center known as Yorktown Commerce Center and located on Old York-Hampton Hwy in York County for $900,000. 29 additional units will be built on the property. Robert Duckett and Chuck Collins facilitated the transaction.
Peter Chang has leased approximately 5,000 square foot at 4830 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach, VA from Stokes Associates, LLC. Mr. Chang plans to operate an upscale Asian fusion restaurant on the site. The restaurant will be opening in approximately 30 to 40 days. Monty Spencer facilitated the transaction.
Kiln Creek, LLC bought the 3.45 acre, 26,900 SF shopping center Pavilion at 3120 Kiln Creek Pkwy in Yorktown, VA from Terrapin Development - KC, LLC. Monty Spencer handled the sale.
7-11 bought 1.4 acres at 1658 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach from Hog Post, LLC. Monty Spencer handled the sale.
Huddle House has leased 2,656 square feet in Greentree Marketplace at Kempsville and Green Tree Roads in Chesapeake to open a new Huddle House restaurant. Greentree Marketplace is also home to a new Walmart Neighborhood Market, 15,571 SF of small shops and a freestanding WaWa. Dave Clarke of Mid-Atlantic Commercial represented Huddle House and Cushman & Wakefield-Thalhimer represented the landlord.
Stanley-Martin Homes has purchased 16+ acres on Kain Road in Henrico County, VA for $3,510,000. Stanly Martin plans to use the property for residential development. Fred Sanford facilitated the transaction.
Burnette Development has purchased the property at 105 Professional Parkway in Yorktown, VA for $600,000. Burnette Development plans to build a multi-floor executive office and Class A Climate Controlled storage facility on the 3.72 acre parcel, which is Co- located with Royal Farms and The Credit Union Service Center at the corner of Coventry Boulevard and George Washington Memorial Highway. The facility will feature executive offices on the ground floor, in addition to climate-controlled units and a designated area for wine storage. Huddle House has leased 2,400 square feet in Landstown Centre at 1908 Landstown Centre Way in Virginia Beach to open a new Huddle House restaurant, which is expected to open by late summer 2015. Dave Clarke of Mid-Atlantic Commercial represented Huddle House and Cushman & Wakefield-Thalhimer represented the landlord.
Elizabeth Brown Wilder has purchased the building at 1589 Bridge Road in Suffolk, VA for $500,000. The 2,340 SF property, which was previously operated as a bank, has recently been utilized as a church by Life Restoration Outreach/ Greater Dimensions Kingdom Ministries. Chuck Collins and Fred Sanford of Mid-Atlantic Commercial Real Estate facilitated the transaction.
Executive Suites, LLC has purchased the apartment complex known as Executive Suites at 2901 W. Mercury Boulevard in Hampton. Monty Spencer and Fred Paris facilitated the transaction. The 28,632 square feet, 32 unit complex, sold for $1,600,000 in February.
Monty Spencer and Rick Gregor facilitated the transaction between Home Associates of Virginia, Inc. and Trevor Pantone on the purchase and sale of the commercial building located at 2022 Pleasure House Road in Virginia Beach. The 4,725 SF property sold in December 2014 for $950,000. The building was formerly a bank and will be operated as a firearms dealer.
Southstar Mountain View, LLC has purchased the 6,682 square feet shopping center at 2400 Chesapeake Square Ring Road in Chesapeake. Monty Spencer facilitated the transaction. The recently redeveloped shopping center, home to major retailers including Starbucks, Jersey Mikes, Cricket Wireless and Hair Cuttery, sold for $3,500,000 in February.
Miguel Girona has brokered the lease of 1,170 square foot in the Harwood Village Office Park in Yorktown to Geo Spa LLC. The new tenants will be operating a therapeutic massage and spa business out of the space.
