A Hamburg mechanical systems company has purchased a small warehouse building on Amsdell Road that was previously home to Hamburg School Car Service.
McAllister Plumbing and Heating paid $900,000 to acquire the single-story, 13,914-square-foot building at 3080 Amsdell from Joan Jarvis, the car service's former operator, according to Erie County Clerk records and William Heussler of Hanna Commercial Real Estate, who brokered the sale.
McAllister, known in its marketing as "The Fair Price Guys," is a 50-year-old Southtowns company that offers plumbing, heating, cooling and generator services. It's currently located at 5628 Maelou Drive, but will be relocating to the larger facility to accommodate its growth, Heussler said.
