Citadel Partners, LLC reps NICE Systems Technologies, Inc with new lease in Richardson, TX

Software firm NICE Systems Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: NICE) found the right fit in Richardson's Telecom Corridor in a recently upgraded building, which includes an ultra-comfy tenant lounge.

The Israeli-based company recently signed a lease for 23,635 square feet at the former Verizon campus at 2400 N. Glenville Drive in Richardson, putting the NICE's entire North Texas operations on one floor.

"They are getting more amenities on the first floor — much like the amenities Galatyn Commons has done," Scott Jessen, a managing partner at Dallas-based Citadel Partners, told the Dallas Business Journal.

"They won't have building signage, but they will have monument signage and the amenity package is much bigger," he added.

Jessen, Andy Goldston and Mac Morse of Citadel Partners represented the tenant, NICE Systems Technologies Inc.

Trey Smith and Clint Madison of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Q Real Estate Holdings LLC, which is part of Fort Worth-based Q Investments. The Fort Worth firm acquired the former Verizon campus in July 2015 and has upgraded the four-building campus.

Before signing the new lease, which will move NICE Technologies' operations in Richardson to the Glenville Drive address this summer — the company's 135 North Texas employees were sitting on two floors, Jessen said.

"They are going to a more open system in an office with a cool, high-tech look with exposed ceilings and an open modular system of working with bright colors," he added.

Hwai Yang Architects of St. Louis is the architect working on the interior design of the office.

Construction has already started on the software firm's new regional office and NICE Technologies plans to move in by the end of the summer.
