Robert JanTausch joined Sitar Realty Company in 2008. In his role as Senior Director/Sales Associate, Mr. JanTausch employs his work ethic and determination that has led to the success of many transactions. He represents owners, landlords, and tenants, and specializes in office, warehouse, retail and land development transactions. He has more than 34 years of experience in land development, construction, and property management. Mr. JanTausch has the expertise in obtaining zoning and planning board approvals, sub-divisions and the construction of commercial buildings. He has completed numerous projects involving such operations.
Prior to joining Sitar Company, Mr. JanTausch retired after a 25+ year law enforcement career, retaining the rank of Major and the Commanding Officer of the Tinton Falls Police Department.
Mr. JanTausch is a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stockton State University in Pomona, New Jersey. He resides in Wall Township and has lived in the Monmouth/Ocean County area for more than 55 years. Bob has sold and leased in excess of 528,000 SF and has sold over $24 million in commercial properties in Wall Township.
Bob’s most notable recent transactions include representing the buyer, Sudler-Iorio, LLC, in the purchase of the Point Pleasant Beer Distributor building at 2250 Route 34, Wall – 101,318 SF on 26 acres; representing the buyer of 2310 Route 34, Wall -- a 28,700 SF office building with UBS and the American Cancer Society as anchor tenants; representing the seller and buyer of 2231 Landmark Place, Wall Township – a 38,000 SF flex building; and representing the seller and buyer of the iconic Freedman’s Bakery building at 801 Main Street in Belmar – a 36,000 SF building. MB1 Capital Partners repositioned the building to be the new home of Beach Haus Brewery and other retailers.
