Tarkenton Thompson

Tarkenton provides comprehensive real estate advisory and representation  services to local, national and international real estate owners, users and investors. With the advantages of a legal background and more than 19 years experience in commercial real estate, he provides his clients with everything they need to achieve their real estate goals. He is an expert in negotiating complex real estate transactions and getting the deal closed efficiently and economically.

Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Tarkenton worked as a paralegal in the law firm of J. Christopher Simpson. While with Simpson, he represented commercial creditors in every facet of business law.

Before joining Richard Bowers & Co., Tarkenton was Vice President of Tenant Advisory for Transwestern Commercial Real Estate, a national brokerage based out of Houston, Texas. While with Transwestern, his focus was on providing tenant representation services to corporate office users in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.

Tarkenton is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Georgia and is an active member of The National Association of Realtors, The Georgia Association of Realtors, The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and a Certified Commercial Investment Member/Candidate (CCIM). Over the years, he has received numerous recognitions from NAI Global and the ACBR Million Dollar Club.

General Information:
He is a Georgia native, that takes his ancestry back several generations. His father was a prominent Atlanta attorney and his grandfather was a former governor of Georgia. He enjoys traveling, history and all sports, including hunting and fishing.
