Bio

Scott Finney is a commercial real estate broker who specializes in Industrial/Office properties of distinction and a proud member of SIOR, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. Scott provides exceptional Buyer and Tenant representation in commercial real estate throughout the Tri-County area.

Having been immersed in the people business for much of his life, Scott possesses a very unique and special skill set. He learned early on to care for sophisticated and often sensitive clientele from his father, Doug Finney, a renowned commercial real estate broker in the San Francisco Peninsula area.

Scott has experience working with a variety of landlords and tenants with spaces ranging from 2,000 S.F. office/flex to 450,000 S.F. buildings. He represented both Buyer and Seller in the sale of the 209,000 S.F. Tigard Central Industrial Park and the 128,000 S.F. Langer Farms in Sherwood, OR to McClellan Properties. He has since closed numerous other sale transactions, including representing U-Haul and Tercek Properties in the sale of a 78,000 S.F. facility for $3.9 million. He has been working closely with banks specializing in SBA loans for the purchase of owner/user buildings.

Other notable lease transactions include leasing 95,000 SF to United Parcel Service at 5051 SW Western Avenue, Henningsen’s Cold Storage’s 71,000 S.F. at Stuart Stiles Trucking Facility, Apex Plastics’ 46,500 S.F. at Tigard Central Industrial Park, Leopold and Stevens’ 25,000 S.F. at Fry Distribution Center, and 40,000 S.F. of space for Savage Wholesale. He also brought the occupancy rate of the Parkrose Business Center, a 212,000 S.F. industrial building, from 63% to 97% in less than 18 months.

Scott has executed over 290 lease transactions from 2009-2013. He was Norris & Stevens’ #1 Industrial Broker of the year in 2009 and 2011 - 2014. He also earned the CoStar Power Broker Award in 2013 and 2014.

Scott has lived in Oregon his entire life, leaving only to serve the greatest nation in the world through the U.S. Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer and as a drill sergeant. Scott’s skill set to handle any situation and personality style is attributable to what he has learned from the many people he has met from around the world.
