Harmen de Jong

Harmen has been involved in real estate development advisory in the Middle East since 2006 and joined TCN UAE as a Partner being responsible for the overall operations of the firm. He covers all real estate sectors including mixed-use developments and advised Clients on optimum investment strategies pertaining to capital projects with a combined value of over USD 100 bn. His strengths include real estate development strategy, feasibility assessments and highest and best use analyses and he is a well-versed financial modeler. The size of projects he advised on varied from research studies on custom bonded zones to large-scale integrated tourism projects with a land area in excess of 10,000 sq. km.

His key responsibility with TCN UAE is to grow the firm’s development advisory footprint in the region whilst establishing specialist advisory practices in the areas of mixed-use communities, ports and maritime and light industrial amongst others. Harmen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from RSM Erasmus University with a concentration in corporate finance.

TCN UAE's main focus in the GCC is on development including development consultancy development management services. In addition, they assist their clients with sourcing real estate investment deals in the US.
