Doug is a knowledgeable, motivated, and diligent agent with over 30 years of experience in all phases of commercial and residential development. He has in depth local market experience in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
Doug began his career as a real estate market analysist for the West Michigan Shoreline Regional Development Commission. He returned to Philadelphia and formed several partnerships developing shopping centers, urban and suburban, single family, townhouse, midrise and high rise residential properties.
Doug has served as Senior Land Acquisition Manager for Toll Brothers, Director of Land Acquisition and Development for Pulte Homes and Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development for Richmond American Homes three of the top ten national homebuilders. He has extensive experience in market analysis, site selection, contract negotiations, site planning, budget management, the entitlement process and construction. He has successfully negotiated over $500,000,000 in real estate transactions.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Design from the University of the Arts, and a Master’s Degree from the joint degree program at the University of North Carolina School of City and Regional Planning and the North Carolina State University School of Architecture and Urban Design.
Doug is also active in his community having served as the Co Chairman of the Building Committee supervising a multi-million expansion of his church.
When he is not involved with real estate he enjoys being with his family and any outdoor adventure. A lifelong saltwater sailor, advanced diver and saltwater fly fisherman he enjoys being on and under the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the Chesapeake Bay.
