John Garruto

After a career that spanned 31 years in law enforcement, John retired from the Lakewood, NJ Police Department as a Lieutenant in charge of Night Operations. When he retired in 2003 he determined that it was time to reinvent himself. So, he entered the fascinating world of real estate. In his first six (6) months, he listed over $15 million worth of property. John has worked with real estate investors and developers. Some of the projects that John has worked on include; the sale of farmland for the construction of single family homes, he has placed five (5) unlisted land parcels, each totaling more than 100 acres, under contract for the development solar farms. He has worked on the sale and purchase of multi-family housing and retail centers. John has owned real estate investments, including, an interest in a 96-unit apartment complex in Greensboro, NC.

John holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Rutgers University, he is a Certified Public Manager. He is graduate of the Northwest University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Ocean County Human Relations Commission. He was a Past President and Member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County.

John is a licensed Broker/Sales Associate in New Jersey and a licensed Sales Associate in Pennsylvania.
