 Thank you to all who joined us in New Orleans for this year's TCN Worldwide Fall Conference. We had a great turnout from our US and international members. Thank you to all of our attendees, presenters and sponsors who made this year's event a success!
This year's Fall Conference offered a full lineup of educational and motivational career building sessions. Attendees were entertained in fashionable New Orleans style as they reconnected with TCN friends and made new ones! The agenda included a variety of outside educational speakers, panel discussions and interactive networking sessions that were designed not only to help build TCN connections, but also motivate and strengthen industry knowledge.  While there were many, one of the highlights of this year's Fall Conference was a presentation from keynote speaker, Mike Dunleavy, Sr., Head Coach, Tulane Green Wave Men’s Basketball Team. As part of his participation at this year’s Fall Conference, TCN Worldwide was able to auction off several official ‘Dunleavy signed’ basketballs within its charity fund-raising efforts to help those impacted by the recent flooding in southern Louisiana.
Across the region, more than 60,000 homes have been destroyed. St. Bernard Project, a nationally-recognized disaster recovery nonprofit that is based out of New Orleans, will be leading recovery and rebuilding efforts across South Louisiana. Thank you to all who participated in our fund-raising efforts! TCN Worldwide is proud to support St. Bernard Project and will be making an additional donation on behalf of the speakers at this year’s Fall Conference—All donations from this year’s event will directly fund the rebuilding of homes for those displaced by the historic August flooding of 2016. |

Award Winners:
In addition to the educational and networking sessions, we were pleased to have had the opportunity to honor a few of our most active members at this year's Awards Luncheon. This year's awards went to: Hans Hansson, Starboard Commercial Real Estate (San Francisco, California), was the winner of the 2016 Assignment Initiation Contest. This award is open to all brokers who initiated assignments between last year’s fall conference and Sep 1, 2016. Winner chosen randomly. Curt Stanton, Paine/Wetzel Associates (Chicago, Illinois), Initiated the Transaction with the Highest Value in the last year, an 8-year, 73,0000+ sf Industrial lease renewal for an undisclosed client with a total value of over $12 million. MHP Real Estate Services (New York, New York) Initiated the Most Number of Transactions in 2016, as of September 1, 2016, with 9 transactions initiated. Jon Mook, Barclay Street Real Estate (Calgary, Alberta), and Terry Lynch, Paine/Wetzel Associates (Chicago, Illinois), were named the TCN Worldwide Team Players of the year for their work on the TCN Industrial group. |
