Thank you to all who attended last week's TCN Worldwide East Regional Conference in Sarasota! It was exciting to see so many familiar faces, new members, as well as several first-time attendees from the East region in person. We thank you for making the event a success—there was a real sense of enthusiasm to be networking in person again and for the return of Spring Training Baseball!
Ross Ford kicked off the event by welcoming our newest member firms, TRG Commercial in Albany, Bradford Allen - New York City, and Stark Accelerators in Boise; followed by leading a session on "What Your Membership Means to You: How & Why it Works" where he discussed TCN tools and resources as well as the best ways to integrate TCN Worldwide into your pitch to win new business. Paul Hendershot, Sr. Director of Market Analytics at CoStar Group, delivered an informative Economic Update. Fred Schmidt, the Managing Partner at Valuation Alliance, presented two sessions that received outstanding reviews, "Negotiating Skills-Getting to the 'No' First" and "The New Dynamics of Presentations: How to Stand Out Both Virtually and Live" as well as shared his placemat presentation technique. He was kind enough to share both his presentation materials as well as the TCN branded placemat presentation template. The event ended with a panel discussion moderated by Ross Ford, "The Arc of Your Career: How to Up your Game". Thank you to our panel participants, Kevin Parisi, Susan Goldstein, and Jonathan Guion, who shared their years of experience and insights to success in commercial real estate.
We want to thank MS&C Commercial/TCN Worldwide, our host member in Sarasota and a sponsor of the spring training baseball game. Scott Cietek and his team at MS&C Commercial went above and beyond by sponsoring the adult beverages for the evening and scouting locations for our networking event. As Steve Wray at Carolina One Commercial Real Estate in Charleston, SC said, "The Spring Training Baseball Game was first class in every way, what could be better than baseball, hot dogs and Cracker Jack? Beautiful ballpark and an outstanding event, thank you!" Based on the feedback from our post-conference survey, those attending agreed that this was a great networking event!
Last but not least, thank you to our 2022 partners that help make these TCN Worldwide events possible: Buildout, CoStar/LoopNet, CREXi, and MS&C Commercial for their contribution to this year's East Region Conference.

"It was a real pleasure to get re-engaged after this pandemic with my fellow TCN affiliates and make new connections. The two presentations Negotiating Skills and Virtual and Live Presentations by Fred Schmidt were very timely and extremely informative and will be of benefit to me and my fellow associates. It was definitely worth the trip from Philly to Sarasota."
