TCN WORLDWIDE APPOINTS DAVID WALLACH TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND AS REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT TO THE NEWLY CREATED CANADIAN REGION
CALGARY AB, CANADA (MARCH 28, 2012) — H. Ross Ford, president and CEO of TCN Worldwide, is proud to announce the appointment of David Wallach, president of Barclay Street Real Estate/TCN Worldwide in Alberta, as a non-voting Advisory Board Member for the 2012-2013 term and as the Regional Vice President of the newly created Canadian Region.
“TCN Worldwide has had significant success recruiting several fine firms in the Canadian marketplace and we anticipate adding several more partners in the coming year. As part of this initiative we wanted to provide them the tools and resources to allow them to strengthen their ties with each other and their fellow TCN members throughout the organization. To accomplish this the Board has endorsed the creation of a Canadian Region to augment the Eastern, Central and Western regions here in North America,” stated H. Ross Ford. “David was a natural fit to take the leadership role as Regional Vice President and as a non-voting Advisory Board Member he will be able to share his insight into the issues facing our international membership and will be a valuable asset as we continue to recruit additional international members.”
David Wallach began his career in Canadian commercial real estate when he joined Barclay Street's brokerage predecessor as an agent in 2000. He emigrated from Israel in 1999 where he had enjoyed a successful entrepreneurial career as President and GM of a professional sports team and owner of an insurance brokerage company. He brings to the Regional Vice President role a wealth of experience, vast international exposure and the development of the leading independent firm in Calgary and Edmonton, Canada. David will be supported in the RVP role by Jeff Robson in his office. Jeff is the past manager of Barclay Street’s participation in ONCOR and an experienced leader in managing affiliate relationships.
