Important Security Information
If you use the TCN Intranet or Extranet on a public or shared
computer (such as in a conference room, library or cyber café), do not select
the Make this My Homepage option in the Intranet and deselect My
Assignments and My Extranet Discussions when customizing your TCN
homepage.
When you are finished, make sure you sign out by either clicking
the Logout link in the navigation bar or by closing every instance of the
browser. When you sign out, all your personal information is deleted from the
computer.
If you are the only one who uses your computer, or if you're not
concerned about keeping private information (Assignment and Extranet accounts)
from the others who can access use your computer (possibly your secretary or
spouse), you can select the Make This My Homepage option and select the
My Assignments and My Extranet Discussions when customizing your
TCN homepage.
For your convenience, this option keeps you signed in to the TCN Intranet and
Extranet at all times from the computer you are using—even if you disconnect
from the Internet, close your browser, or turn off the computer. That means you
can choose to sign in to the Intranet and Extranet site with one click, without
having to retype your sign-in name and password! To sign out and remove all
cookies from the computer, click the Logout link from the top navigation
bar.
